presidential form of government

The difficulty in India today is that a man who enjoys the confidence and trust of the majority of Indians, finds himself helpless to implement the popular mandate! It is beyond doubt that the Westminister model has only perpetuated dynasty rule.It has failed to address the problems of the vast majority of Indians and as a result India is worse off than during British rule.
It is important that plenary powers be given to the popularly elected leader of the nation to implement much needed reforms in the ailing body politic.True to the Indian ethos, the leader should be accountable only to the 'Dharma' or The Constitution.
