In the past the cowboy was the most popular theme in American novels and movies.He was a dare-devil,a shooter and an excellent rider.He always rode early in the morning with a smile on his face and defiance in his heart.His favourite haunts were bars,open spaces and eating places.His attire was casual with a curved hat and he spoke with an easy drawl.
The cowboy would go after bank robbers,cow-rustlers,carriage robbers and anyone who bothered the ladies.Horses and dogs were his best friend and he took great care of them.
