Advani's resignation is a sensible and wise decision by a seasoned politician! He knows that under Modi he will be a mere figurehead to befool the people while the real power center will be elsewhere. The BJP has now proved beyond any doubt that it is a fascist organisation and its objective is a Hindu Rashtra. I am shocked to read that Justice Krishna Iyer,a former Supreme Court Judge has congratulated Modi and called him a Gandhian. I am sure Gandhi must be turning in his grave! I am sure that Yeshwant Sinha,Arun Jaitley,Sushma Swaraj,Uma Bharati and Jaswant Singh will follow suit and tender their resignations.
I am sure that now it will be a downhill journey for the BJP unless it can create a Gujrat like situation all over India! It is time for all non-congress,non-bjp parties to get their act together and sincerely start working to build a credible alternative based on secularism.democracy,socialism and social justice.
