Brazil is in turmoil! The people are out on the streets protesting against the government's policies which are causing ruin and unrest. The President Madame Rousett is no longer in control of the situation. MNCs and drug cartels which have ruined several countries Latin America are calling the shots! Inflation,unemployment,social tensions,drug related crime and gang wars are on the rise. The fifth largest economy in 2011 is now tottering on its knees. Tourism which is the main source of foreign exchange and employment is on the decline.
Brazil is an important member of BRICS and any unrest and instability affects the other member states. The president should immediately step-down and a new President should be elected. If immediate steps are not taken it will be only a matter of time before the contagion spreads to other neighboring countries!
