women leaders in india

There is an acute shortage of women leaders at the grss root level. Most educated women are opting for career, success, marriage and an easy life. They lack a sense of social responsibility, discipline and purpose.Divorces,extra-marital affairs, women alcoholics and addicts are fast becoming the norm rather than the exception.
For any social change,it is imperative that women in large numbers show a serious concern for social issues and not waste their life in futile pursuits.
Women are capable of great sacrifice, heroism and leadership if they can rise above the mundane and the cheap.
Rani laxmibai,Padmini,Kalpana Joshi,Aruna Asaf Ali,Medha Patkar and Sushma Swaraj are examples of a disciplined, courageous and dedicated lives.
