a green life-style


To cope with the increasing stresses and strains of modern living,it is important to adopt an energetic and healthy life style.There is little doubt that our environment and diet are heavily contaminated with life-threatening chemicals-mainly carbon,lead,methane,arsenic,mercury,sulphur,phosphorus and zinc.To negate the effect of these toxic chemicals wehave to add food to our diet which are rich in proteins,vitamins,vitamins,calcium,iron and starch-a green diet.By eating green vegetables,fruits,dairy products,whole grains,cereals and taking lot of fluids,we can increase our strength and immunity to diseases.A green diet is not only easy to digest but improves mind-body coordination and body rhythm.
Along with diet,suitable changes must be made in our dress,habitat and work patterns.We should avoid using synthetic materials and instead prefer cotton,silk,jute,rubber and other natural raw materials.It is possible to make our living space 'green' by increasing the ventilation and natural lighting and avoiding the use of air-conditioning.As far as possible,the use of chemical paints should be avoided.Listening to music while working is a good way of reducing stress.The use of mobiles should be restricted to sending SMSs and making 'emergency' calls.Those doing desk-jobs should take 'breaks' after regular intervals to cat or stroll.Going into details should be avoided and instead the larger picture should be kept in mind.
Doing Aerobics regularly is also crucial to a healthy life style.Avoiding late hours ensures increase in performance.
