The tendency to paint individuals in a larger than life creates more problems than serve any purpose.All the 'greats' onl;y appeared to serve a need in evolution and their relevence ceased thereafter.All of them took great pains to tell people not to idolise them,instead show 'spirit'! There never can be another Jesus,Krishna,Buddha or Mohammed!
Some unscrupulous individuals for their petty purposes start acult which subsequently becomes an organisation with controversies,supporters,fanatics and violence.
For all its drawbacks,the Indian culture still respects the assertion of individuality!
