Indo-Vietnam friendship has withstood the test of time and has grown in strength and stature.However there is scope for deepening our ties. India can offer tremendous support in nation building of Vietnam. Like India Vietnam is also a predominantly agrarian society. India can offer scientific,technological and R&D to Vietnam in all spheres.
Vietnam should figure prominantly in our Look-East policy. The Vietnamese people are a brave people who defeated the US!
We should both seek synergies and help each other resolve our common issues-poverty,illiteracy,unemployment,malnutrition and disease!
