preserve sanskrit

Sanskrit like Greek and Latin is one of the ancient languages of the world! It originated in times when humans were more civilized and cultured as compared to the present times. It is a highly intuitive and evolved language. All our ancient scriptures such as The Gita,Ramayan,Vedas,Upanishads and our treatises are in Sanskrit. It is the mother of all Indian languages.
Sanskrit lies in a state of neglect in India today. In most states Sanskrit is no longer taught in schools today. Undoubtedly it is motivated by political considerations. All talk of preserving our culture is baloney if children are not taught Sanskrit in schools.
There are Sanskrit departments in German.French,Spanish and British Universities but not in Indian Universities!
A country which does not pride its past has no future!
