the killer instinct

To succeed in today's world,it is imperative to have the killer instinct.India, due to the influence of Buddhism, lost its manhood and subsequently its sovereignty. From time to time men like Shankaracharya,Akbar,Rana Pratap,Shivaji,Guru Gobind Singh,Ranjit Singh,Hyder Ali,Laxmibai,Dayananda and Vivekananda did make desperate attempts to re-invigorate India but the rot was too deep too be stemmed.
If India is to be a force to be reckoned with,it is absolutely essential to re-invent our psyche. We must stop looking to the wealthier nations and instead re-structure our polity based on our own cultural traditions.India's strength, though invisible, lies in its ability to seperate the chaff from the grain.
The Bhagvad Gita has the answers to all our problems.Rather than relying on the various interpretations,it has to be presented in a contemporary manner. There are several learned people in the world who are practicing the Gita in their day to day life and influencing events in their modest way.
The Gita was composed at a transitional time like the present, when dark forces were threatening to overwhelm the world. It explains in succinct terms the path to higher realms of consciousness. It is a grand synthesis of the spiritual and the material.
If the Gita can be made a part of the school curriculum without stepping on any toes,it could revolutionise India within a short span.
