"I cant imagine God playing dice with the world". Einstein. Einstein is rightly known as the father of modern physics. His Theory of relativity revolutionized science and introduced the concepts of space, dimension and time to physics.Earlier science was dominated by the Newtonian concepts but Einstein completely changed it. He introduced the forth dimension to physics and universalized it! His basic proposition was that time, space and distance are relative and depend on the position of the observer. His pioneering work led to developments in quantum physics, nuclear energy and space research. However after the nuclear explosions at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, he reversed his views about nuclear energy.
Einstein worked as a clerk at a patent office in Berne where he spent his idle time doing research in mathematics and science. He was not professionally qualified as a scientist but like all geniuses was entirely self-taught. He was persecuted by the Nazis ,being a Jew,and was forced to flee to America, where he remained for the entire period of the war. He was an ardent supporter of nuclear disarmament and dream t of a world without borders.
He always believed that there was a higher purpose to the world and our existence. He stubbornly refused to conform to any religious, political, philosophical or ideological pattern. His spirit still influences all scientific research in the world!
