Receptivity is the sign of a mature individual. It shows that the person is constantly growing and changing. Openness to ideas,feelings,thoughts and events are indicators of great creativity. The reason for decline of societies is a closed mind. What was applicable yesterday becomes irrelevant today and so on. The universe is constantly changing and evolving and so are we.
Dogmatism,intellectualism,fundamentalism,fear and totalitarianism are the enemies which prevent us from changing.Any insistence to be the repository of knowledge are barriers in the path of evolution! Life at every step teaches us to universalize. Even Science and religion profess the same thing. It is the human mind which remains stubborn and rigid. It prefers routine and consistency because it gives an illusion of safety and security.
Tolerance,love,compassion,oneness and receptivity are proof that the individual and society is on the right path !
