sound sleep and regular bowel movement

The importance of a sound sleep and a good digestive system cannot be underestimated for maintaining a strong physique and solid nerves.
The modern life-style with its hectic schedule and meeting of deadlines has made it extremely difficult for people to follow regular habits and has consequently increased the diseases and illnesses in the world.
'Early to bed and early to rise makes a man happy,healthy and wise' is a time-tested formula for good health.It is advisable to have a light meal after sunset and read or listen to soft music before retiring.As far as possible liquor or other stimulants  should be avoided at night.A cup of hot milk or soup ensures peaceful sleep.A minimum of 8 hours sleep is imperative to remain cheerful and relaxed during the day.Sleeping on the floor or a thin mattress keeps the spine strong and supple.
Regular exercise,drinking lot of fluids,consuming fibre,dairy products and fruits keeps the bowels clean and clears the body of all toxins and waste.
If from childhood,one learns to respect the body and develops regular habits,it can help immensely to inculcate a spirit of goodwill and friendliness in a person.
